Turnkey IT Infrastructure for Companies Setting Up in Ecuador
One partner to fit out the entire operation: voice and data, networking and cybersecurity, infrastructure and data center, end-user computing, printing, power protection and support. Founded in 2001, with offices in Guayaquil and Quito and more than 300 active clients, Gensystems runs the whole rollout with a single technical team.
What a turnkey rollout covers
Every workstream has its own page, in Spanish, with the technical detail. In a turnkey project we combine them into a single plan, with one owner and one schedule.
Voice and data, IP telephony
IP phone systems, headsets and accessories so the team can communicate from day one.
Networking and cybersecurity
Switching, enterprise Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall for a segmented, protected network from the start.
Infrastructure and data center
Servers, storage, backup and virtualization when the operation needs infrastructure of its own.
End-user computing
Laptops, desktops and workstations configured per user profile and delivered ready to work.
Printing and document capture
Printing and scanning equipment, with managed print billed per page if you prefer.
Power protection
UPS units and voltage regulators sized to protect the critical equipment on site.
Software licensing
Operating system, productivity and security licences in order from the moment you go live.
Video conferencing rooms
Displays, cameras and audio for meeting rooms and for the link with headquarters abroad.
Video surveillance and access
IP cameras, recorders and access control for the new premises.
Support and maintenance
On-site and remote support after go-live, both preventive and corrective.
What does a company opening in Ecuador actually need first?
Voice and data service and a working internal network come first: cabling, switching, Wi-Fi and a firewall protecting the perimeter. End-user equipment, printing and power protection go on top of that, and servers or storage follow only if the operation actually requires infrastructure on site.
Can a single provider handle the whole IT setup?
Yes. Gensystems covers voice and data, networking and security, infrastructure, end-user computing, printing, power and support with one technical team. That removes the vendor coordination overhead, leaves a single owner for the project, and lets decisions in one layer account for their effect on the others.
What does the implementation process look like?
We start with an assessment of what the operation needs and of the physical site. From there we design the solution and settle vendors and quantities. Then comes the supply of equipment and licences, on-site installation and configuration, and finally support, which can continue as a service.
What if we would rather not buy the equipment?
You can rent it instead. Under Gensystems FlexRent computing, printing and storage equipment is paid as a monthly fee with no upfront investment, and renewed at the end of the term. Contracts typically run three to five years, which suits a site still validating its final headcount.
Why keep the project with a single partner
- One accountable partner for the whole rollout instead of several vendors to coordinate.
- In-house technical teams in Guayaquil and Quito for installation and ongoing support.
- Network, infrastructure and end-user decisions taken together, not in isolation.
- Manufacturer licensing and official support handled alongside the implementation.
- Buy the equipment or rent it on a monthly fee, depending on your cash flow.

Frequently asked questions
Can Gensystems set up a new office in Guayaquil or Quito?
Yes. Gensystems has offices in Guayaquil and Quito with in-house technical teams in both cities, and runs implementation projects in either location: from the initial assessment through on-site installation and ongoing support.
Which vendors do you work with?
HPE, Dell and Lenovo for servers and end-user equipment, and Aruba, Sophos, Fortinet and Cisco Meraki for networking and security, among others. The choice depends on the size of the operation, the budget and how much your team wants to administer in-house.
How much does it cost to equip a new site in Ecuador?
It depends on the number of users, the premises, whether you need infrastructure on site and the level of support you contract. We start with a no-obligation assessment and then submit a proposal with defined scope, vendors, quantities and costs.
Can the rollout be phased?
Yes. The usual approach is to prioritise voice and data, the network and end-user equipment so the operation can start trading, then cover servers, video surveillance or meeting rooms in a second phase as the site grows.
Who handles support once the rollout is finished?
The same team that carried out the installation. Ongoing support can be set up as preventive and corrective maintenance or as a managed services contract, with monitoring and continuous support if you have no local IT staff.
